Heather Baruch-Owner, RN, Herbalist,
BodyTalk Practitioner
Heather
grew up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and moved to Colorado after graduating from Nursing School at South Dakota State University
in 2000. She worked as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the hospital setting in Denver for 7 years.
For many years, Heather experienced
inner ear congestion, which affected her hearing. After medical exams and multiple medications, her frustration persisted
until she met an Herbalist. She made an appointment for a consultation and began a nutritional and herbal supplementation
program immediately to solve the issue she was having with her ears!
This success brought about a profound
interest in nutrition, herbs and natural healing, so she decided to take a Master Herbalist Certification Program. When
Heather was introduced to BodyTalk and received a couple sessions, she was intrigued and had to learn more. Now Heather
is a BodyTalk Practitioner and is thrilled to have another modality to utilize for her her family, friends and clients to
meet their health and wellness goals. Heather says, “I am so excited that I have found my passion in life
and look forward to sharing what I have learned with other people.”

Sharon Coyner, Dipl OM, LAc - Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine
Interest
in medicine came early for Sharon, as the child of a physician. Sciences were always favorite subjects
in school, and summers in high school and college were spent helping out in the medical office.
After raising a family, she was exposed to the world of Chinese Medicine and quickly became
fascinated with its ancient holistic approach to healing. The idea of balance in our lives – day
and night, activity and rest, work and play is an integral part of this system and led to the name Equilibrium Point.
According to Chinese theory, the more balanced our lives and bodies become, the more we enjoy vibrant health.
Sharon has lived in several states in the U.S. and spent
four years in Peru. She speaks fluent Spanish, and holds a Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese
Medicine. She is nationally certified by the NCCAOM in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine and a licensed
acupuncturist in the State of Colorado. She is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Colorado and
an instructor at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In addition to acupuncture and Chinese
herbs, Sharon utilizes moxibustion, food therapy, cupping,TuiNa (Chinese therapeutic massage) and sound therapy.
Her vision is to synthesize the formal training in Chinese Medicine with life experience and
a strong belief in the ability of the human mind and body to heal in order to bring the riches of this medical system to the
foothills as well as the Hispanic community of Denver.
