terrain. When our biological terrain is in balance, our cells prosper. When our environment is out of balance,
our cells fail to thrive creating an environment which which can grow unhealthy things such as fungi, bacteria, viruses, parasites
or cancer cells. One of the most fundamental factors in health is pH - the acid/alkaline balance of our body’s
tissues and fluids. When one’s pH is balanced, it works to maintain the health of the entire system. The pH is the measure of the acidity or alkalinity of a solution. The lower the pH number, the more acidic the solution. The higher the pH number, the more alkaline the solution. In a healthy young adult, water accounts for approximately 70 percent of the total body weight. This water, also known as the fluid of life, occupies two main compartments within the body - intracellular and extracellular.
